Louise Block is thrilled to be joining Opera Huntsville for the second time after performing in Die Fledermaus (Apprentice—Prince Orlofsky, chorus) in May of 2023! She is in her senior year in the Creative Writing Magnet Program at Lee High School.  She has been a student of piano and voice for over a decade, and has taken lessons in both at Ars Nova School of the Arts since 2018.  She also performs with the Huntsville Community Chorus Association (Youth Chorale, admin volunteer) under Dr. Matt Carey’s direction.  She is a graduate of the Academy for Academics & Arts and has lived in Huntsville since 2017.  Louise hopes to attend college in the fall and pursue music history.
